Flitter is an F litter pup, hence her name. Her sire is Autry's Rowdy Cash. Her dam is our Rhodie. Both sire & dam are dogs of accomplishment: Cash is a multi-time NSTRA Champion, and Rhodie is the lead brag dog on our 16 dog guide string. Flitter was born in June of 2006.

Flitter does an awful lot of things well and the decision to let her go has not been an easy one. She pointed birds early and hard, was a natural retriever, and has a very engaging personality. She went to summer camp in South Dakota last year in the puppy program and had a tremendous amount of bird exposure. We also used her a few times in our guide string this past year to give her some experience. She has had a preliminary OFA hip exam and received a grade of "Good." She is well past the stage of a started dog and ready at any time to be finished out. If she does not sell, she will got to summer camp this year to be finished and will work on the guide string next fall. She is a great little dog that runs hard, stays busy and is fun to be around.

We are letting her go because she is so dark, and her tail set on point is no higher than as seen in the picture. Neither issue has any bearing on her potential as a hunting dog. We simply are at a point in our program here where if a dog isn't going to be used for breeding, it will not be kept around. She is going to make someone a wonderful bird dog and an adorable family pet.
